Oscar, on his birthday, suddenly learns an odious truth that shatters his entire world of teenage life. That is when the adventure begins! He is transported by space wheel to a 17th-century French tavern and meets three musketeers – Athos, Porthos and Aramis – who are known for their incorrigible courage and loyalty. Now, it is no longer clear who he is - Oscar or D'Artagnan? And what strange dream did he have?
This surreal musical performance, full of absurd situations, is created by a renowned team of Polish artists: Director – Ewa Piotrowska, Playwright – Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk, Performance Designer – Michał Dracz, composer – Wojciech Błazżejczyk. All of these artists are already familiar to the audience of the Theatre LĖLĖ from the witty puppet show Coffee Grinder, which is also full of heroic exploits.
According to Director Piotrowska: ‘The play raises the question of how to teach your heart to feel anew. In the end, we must realize that all our life experiences are important: even the ones we don't like, even the ones that hurt us, even the ones we don't accept, even the ones we deny altogether... This is the lesson that the musketeers are passing on to Oscar.’
