J. Trimakaitė was born in 1987, in Vilnius. In 2010 she graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, acquired specialty of actress-puppeteer (course mentor – A. Latėnas). In 2013 she gained master‘s diploma in acting (course mentor – J. Vaitkus). In 2011-2014 J. Trimakaitė studied puppet theatre in National high school (École Supérieure Nationale des Arts de la Marionnette), in Charleville-Mézières (France). In 2010-2011 she was an actress in Vilnius Theatre Lėlė. Since 2015 she has been working as an actress, puppeteer and director in various troupes: LES ENFANTS SAUVAGES, EUN YOUNG KIM PERNELLE & CO, COLLECTIF 23H50, Compagnie ZA, Collectif MA-THEA, acting in Centre de créations pour l'enfance performances. In 2014 J. Trimakaitė directed her diploma performance Les Animaux Inéluctables (Eng. Inevitable Animals). This performance was highly appreciated by the commission and invited to be performed in Biennale Internationale des Arts de la Marionnette in Paris (France), in Valise festival in Łomża (Poland), in VERSUCHUNG festival in Berlin (Germany), in theatre FITZ in Stuttgart (Germany), in the programme at the Charleville World Puppet Theatre Festival (France), in Le Festival Itinérant de Marionnettes Valencienne (France). Since 2016 she has been lecturing puppet theatre at Jules Verne University, theatre and cinema faculty, in Amiens city (France).
